Static Roar, a site-specific installation made for Maison 10 in New York City. Megan’s installation is made from the trimmings of hundreds vinyl records. In the final stages of making a record, the record is pressed then spun against a knife, cutting away the ragged edge. Megan has used the trimmings to make an explosion frozen and confined within a grid of galvanized steel cables.
